LJ Hooker offices are continuing their fundraising efforts to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF).
Offices in the real estate franchise are selling a range of merchandise for Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month this month.
Items for sale include red tote bags for $3, red rose embossed nail files for $2.50 and CFA awareness wrist bands for $2.
Some offices will also have merchandise available at open inspections during May.
LJ Hooker Queensland general manager James Callianiotis said LJ Hooker had raised more than $3.5 million since 1998 to help find a cure for CF.
“CF is the most common life threatening, recessive genetic condition affecting Australian children today,” Mr Callianiotis said.
“LJ Hooker has raised millions through a variety of fundraising activities organised by real estate offices throughout Australia including barbecues, raffles, charity auctions and golf events.”
Cystic Fibrosis Australia’s National Awareness Day – 65 Roses Day - is on May 28.
The name comes from a young boy’s misunderstanding of his sister’s condition - he thought she had 65 roses.
